Moist weather were expected to linger along significant areas of eastern Queensland this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the shoreline.

The following day was expected to become the most rainy day, with persistent storm activity anticipated across different parts of both areas.

Medical authorities warned that there was an greater possibility of weather-related respiratory issues across the northern rural areas, especially given the current weather patterns.
